TAJIMA Research Lab opening at 'Fukushima Robot Test Field'

Tajima Motor Corporation Group is proud to announce a new lab location at the 'Fukushima Robot Test Field' which is a new world class research base for research and development of robotic engineering and technology.

'Fukushima Robot Test Field' is part of the "Fukushima Innovation Coast Scheme" which is led by Minamisoma City and Fukushima Prefecture. The primary research target is the development of UAV, disaster-response robot, automatic driving robot, underwater search robot and other land, seas and air robotic technologies. There, engineers are able to create and stage a real-life condition to conduct tests to examine and analyze performance of "field robots". The research facility is the world's first and it is expected to contribute greatly toward specialized technology. Tajima Motor Corporation aspires to utilize the facility to accumulate and mature techonology associated with autonomous driving vehicles and UAV.
